Would anyone recommend buying a used land rover discovery from the 1 or 2 series?

taking into consideration reliability, durability, and how long it will last. i do not particularly care for the new land rover designs, not that i could afford one anyways, but are your thoughts on the discovery? thanks everyone|||Land Rover is not a popular vehicle and as a result they have very poor resale value and they will be very expensive to maintain. If you ever need parts you will be forced to pay outrageous prices at the dealer. Mechanics are not familiar with the vehicle so they either will refuse to work on them or charge big prices and the vehicle has a reputation for for being unreliable. You should buy instead an SUV from Toyota, Honda or Nissan.
