I am thinking about buying a land rover defender 110,1990, that has been fitted with a discover engine thathas only 50k on the clock, am i looking at trouble?? I am going to see it today, what should i look out for? Thanks|||From what I understand, maintenance will be very expensive. My co-worker has a Land Rover (not sure which model) and new breaks costs him $1200.|||Stay away-stay very far away (that is unless you have lots of money to keep repairing it and stock in a towing company).
These vehicles (Rovers in general) are a money pit. That's my advice.
