2002 land rover free lander won't start, battery new, starter tested good?

my 02 land rover Free lander won't star (won't clank) battery and starter check all good, want to know how to check key inigition switch if it good or bad? or safety switch as people said might be bad, where is locacated? thank.|||Try this.With your left hand turn the key as to start the engine with your right hand move the shifter from park to low 1 go up and down with the shifter to see if it might grab pull the shifter to you and away from you (left and right) as you go up and down. your safety neutral switch is located on the tranny one or two wires should be attached to it. good luck.|||Well..if you want to go over hill and dale.....get a landrover
