I need step by step instructions on how to replace the air bag springs on my Land Rover Series 2 Discovery.If any one can help i would really appreciate it
Many thanks|||I take you thinking about suspension and not safety restraints? If it's the suspension, bad news. It'll have to go back to your dealership, as the LR needs diagnostic tools to 'tell' it whats been fixed etc. The diagnostic kit is expensive stuff, but they probably won't charge you for using it as part of their repairs. Contrary to popular belief, here in Britain, out mechanics look upon it as a tool, not just a money spinner! Parts? Dunno, not too cheap. Labour? About 拢35.00 an hr. A wealth of info regarding everything Land Rover. This conversion isn't exactly a piece of cake. Be sure to have extra help hanging around in the garage, preferably someone who knows a bit about Rovers. Be careful with those compressed springs! Good luck! You'll be much happier with the coil suspension set up.
