Im getting a car soon and so far my main two choices are between a 1998 jeep cherokee limited and a 2001 land rover discover. They bothe are priced the same and are in good condition but i cant make a decision.....which is better?|||Jeep if it has the 4.0|||A 9 yr old Land Rover is a rolling nightmare. Stay away from it at all costs. The repair and maintenance costs alone will kill you. Unless you can save $1000 per month for repairs, you have no business owning a LR. They are some of the most unreliable cars on the road.
Jeeps are fine. They may have their issues but the basic car is solid. You can find parts for them and plenty of mechanics know how to fix them. There are lots of used Jeeps on the market so shop aggressively, don't settle on the first nice one you see.|||Uh...neither. Can't you get a wrangler or something from chevy or ford?
