How old do you have to be to get insured on a land rover in the uk?

pretty much what it says in the question lol.

how old do you have to be to get insured on a land rover in England, UK?

thinking about buying a land rover for my first car but dont know how old you have to be to get insured for one? anyone know?

many thanks x|||From my experience many insurers won't touch any new driver for a Land Rover, but there are a few exceptions.

I would try to get a quote from the National Farmers Union before you buy the car, they are very competitive and accommodating with 4X4 cover.|||The price will be sky high for a first time driver in a land rover. You need to be over 17 but good luck finding an insurance company that will insure you. Why don't you google car insurance and put all your details in and then you will get some idea of price etc.... Good luck %26amp; happy new yr :)|||I learned to drive in a Land Rover at 17, the insurance is high but I live on a farm so i can justify it.

They're good cars but if you need something easy to insure then a Land Rover probably isn't it.|||depends really old land rover such as series 2 and 3 arent turbocharged so are about 4k to insure at 17 modern defender are about 9k upwards and any other land rover even more worth 4k for old land rover but they need a lot of work and good one dont come cheap|||The same as you need to be for other cars, usually over 17 most times its 18. Obviously insurance is much higher for you. I new someone who had a rover at young age.|||You might get it at under 24 but it will be very expensive IF you do
