What kind of land rover would be best for trailering horses?

my dad was thinking about a new car and was going to buy a used one. Where we will get it has hundreds and hundreds,of land rovers. but what model/engine would be best. it will be pulling a 2 horse trailer and a 1200 lbs horse. thanks pictures would help alot too.|||That's not much weight so even a 2WD V6 model can do the job. But any good V8 powered one will do fine. Don't just look at a Land Rover to do the job, many smaller trucks, such as a Toyota Tundra, will be perfect. Even a Chevy Silverado will do fine too. Look for the towing capacities of vehicles rather than focusing on a Land Rover. You may miss a real bargain.

Edit, the Nissan Titan is good I agree, but even used they are pricey. The Tundra would be a little more affordable if used. The best thing about trucks vs. an suv is that even in bad economic times, they hold value better. LR is all about image. The ones we get here in the states are ok, but the real monsters are the diesel powered ones avalible only in Europe.
