How to put in code to a 1997 land rover stareo?

I just bought a 1997 discovery land rover but the stareo is asking for a code. i have a 5 digit code number but every website says i only 4? if anyone could help and tell me what the sequence to putting in the code that would be great!!|||Lets say the code i 24591





you enter it this way using the presets memory buttons





1 press 2 times


2 press 4 times


3 press 5 times


4 press 9 times


5 press 1 time





now press the am fm and or power button





if the radio is not accepting codes now unplug the ground battery terminal for 30 minutes
